September 16th!!

September 16th was a huge day for us! We sold our house! There had been an interested buyer before we went on vacation that said that our house was on the top of his list but he wanted some more time to think about it. We decided to not show the house while we were gone since my mom had a zillion other things to worry about. When we got back from vacation we heard from our broker that our house was still his number one choice but he wanted to look at a few more. On Wednesday September 16th we got the call that he wanted to make an offer. After going back and forth a few times(within a matter of an hour or so) we had the deal made. We are closing on the house on November 12th. SOOOO now the house hunting begins! Also on that day Kendri had her 18 month check-up. The appointment was at 2:30 (right in the middle of nap time) so we had to wake her up to head to the Dr. She was NOT a happy camper. John met us at home and we all went together, Her check up went as well as could be expected. She was fine with Dr DeSilva looking in her ears and listening to her heart but was ANGRY when she went to look at her throat and teeth. Kendri had been having a low grade temp. for about a week or so so we were concerned that there was some sort of infection. So instead of giving her her vaccinations we got her white blood count and found that she had a viral infection going on. We were excited to see that she is gaining weight. She is now in the 5th percentile (up from the 3rd) and weighs 20lbs and 7 oz. That also means that we can turn her car seat around and she can sit forward facing!!! She is in the 55th percentile for height at 32 inches. Hopefully she will stay tall and skinny . . what more could a girl want =) The Dr. was once again very impressed by her verbal skills and asked Kendri lots of questions including animal sounds and body parts. And suggested that we start introducing the potty and start taking away the paci. UGH!! NOT looking forward to either one of those!! Our baby is getting to be a big girl!! Life is good at the Ayers' household!!
