Hey all,
We had another very busy weekend! I spent quite a bit of the weekend doing "girl stuff" for the upcoming wedding that John and I are in on June 20th. We had a shower followed by the bachelorette party on Friday night and then lunch and a Stock the Bar party on Saturday. Kendri got to spend some quality time with Daddy and John parents who came over to watch her Saturday while we went out.
Today was our last session of Romp n Roll. We have decided with the weather now warm, we would take advantage of it and have a weekly play date with Juliann and Meg somewhere outside. We also got the e-mail addresses of a few of the other moms in hopes of making some play dates.
We took a "Tumble Tunes" class this time. The class is divided between time to play in the gym and time to play some musical instruments and sing. Kendri really liked both and it was amazing to see how far she had come since our first time there. We started when she was not yet sitting up and today she was crawling, running, jumping and climbing everything. It is crazy how much she has changed in such a short time. Her favorites are currently the egg shakers and the drums. But she would much rather play them independently then get any help from me or follow what the others are doing .. typical =) At the end they have an awesome bubble machine that she LOVES! I have included some pics.
