Easter!

Hi all,
Kendri is 13 months old today!!
We had a fantastic week off of school during Spring Break and had a great finale with Easter. The weather was great most of the week and we spent quite a bit of time at the park where Kendri has discovered the slide and still loves to swing!
Easter morning John and I were slated to help out in the nursery so after we took Kendri to the babies room, we were sent to the 3-4 year old room. They ended up not getting as many kids as they thought and told us that we were free to go to the worship service. He and I were both secretly relieved! After the service we picked up Kendri and went back to the beginning of the 9:45 service to hear the music (since we missed it in the nursery and it is our favorite part). Kendri LOVES the music and to hear Daddy sing. She dances as he holds her and claps her hands along to the beat. It is very fun to watch!
After church she went down for a nap and we "hid" the Easter eggs for her "hunt". Basically I just threw them out in the yard. We filled them with snacks that are her favs. Some had goldfish, some with yogurt melts, some with puffs, and the rest with teddy grahams which are currently her new obsession. When she woke up we gave her her basket and let her "look" for eggs. After much urging she decided that she would pick them up and put them in her basket as long as Daddy was holding her hand. Such a Daddy's girl!
We then went to John's parents house for Easter dinner. There was a huge spread of food (none of which Kendri was interested in . . no surprise) and then sat with the fam and rested. All in all it was a fantastic day!
Here are the pictures from the day. The dress that my mom made turned out beautiful and Kendri looked gorgeous. John and I were very pleased!
I hope that you all had a fantastic Easter and that the bunny was as good to you as he was to us!
